Sailing Areas

The region around Marmaris is affected by Meltemi winds during the summer months. Since it blows along the coast, it is very likely that you will have to tack a lot when sailing westward. The Meltemi reaches its full strength between 1 PM and 5 PM. The region to the east is characterized by considerably weaker winds, which is why we recommend it especially to those with less sailing experience.
